At Montair we offer various ways to earn your wings — whether for recreation or for a career. You can take advantage of all of our programs, depending on how well they suit your needs, schedules and availability.
Integrated Commercial Pilot Programs
Are you someone who is looking to become an airline ready commercial pilot with a knowledge base and skill set that exceeds those obtained from traditional commercial pilot courses? These could include turbine aircraft experience, depending on which course you choose. This concentrated program requires a commitment to full time study and the flexibility to fly and attend ground school at varying times. Montair is one of a handful of flight schools in the country that has Transport Canada accreditation to conduct this style of structured training.
For example, the IATPL consists in excess of over 750 hours of ground school tuition, as compared to a minimum of 120 hours that must be completed in modular commercial courses.
Professional Pilot Programs
Do you want to combine your flight training with a complementary university education? Perhaps you would like to complete a commercial licence in less than 12
months but are unable to join our integrated programs? Montair can accommodate you with either of these options with our Professional Pilot Program. This method of achieving your Commercial Pilot Licence may be more suitable for you, as compared to the Integrated Programs, if you are unable to commit to full-time flight training and study.
In this program, you will complete all of the Transport Canada approved training. Due to the structured nature of the course, you can save thousands of dollars compared to the traditional modular route.
