Visa Information

Montair welcomes students from abroad. It is
an honor and privilege to train students from around the
world. Please find below information about entering Canada
for the purpose of studying.
TRAINING LASTING LESS THAN 6 MONTHS
For training lasting less than 6 months, a student visa is
not required. However, if you are a citizen of the countries
listed on this webpage, you will need a visitor visa.
For more information about obtaining a visitor visa, please
contact your travel agent or your nearest
Canadian Embassy.
TRAINING LASTING MORE THAN 6 MONTHS
For training lasting more than 6 months, you must obtain a
student visa. The process takes between 6 weeks and 3
months. Errors and/or missing documents/fees will further
delay the processing time.
To request a student visa:

documents. Fill out the applicable forms.

Montair. Contact us for
more information.

If you are a citizen of the countries
listed on this webpage you will need a medical. It
can take weeks to schedule an examination so don't delay
making an appointment. Click here
for a list of doctors by country.

Montair requires a NON-REFUNDABLE processing fee of
$750.00 Canadian dollars from students requiring a visa
for the purpose of studying at Montair.

Students are permitted in Canada on the
understanding that they have sufficient funds for
tuition fees, living expenses, transportation and other
necessary costs. Therefore, you will have to prove the
availability of sufficient funds in your name. As a
guideline, 10,000 Canadian dollars per year in addition
to the tuition should be sufficient. Remember that a
student visa does not allow you to work in Canada.

Police checks will be required for any
student over 18 years of age.

You must join to your application three
passport sized photographs.

Send all the required documents and
processing fee to your nearest Canadian Embassy.

You may be required to have an
interview to finalize your application process.
